Four-Parameter Environmental Pollution

Some of the parameters used to identify the occurrence of environmental pollution, as well as determine the level of pollution. The parameters used as indicators penemaran lingkugnan are as follows

a. chemical parameters
Chemical parameters include CO2, pH, alkalinity, phosphorus and sometimes strenuous activity.

b. biochemical parameters
Biochemical parameters include BOD (biochemical Orxygen Deman), ie the amount of oxygen contained in the water or terlalur. BOD measurement is to store the water samples of known content of oksigennnya for 5 days and subsequently re-measured oxygen content results, BOD is used to measure the amount of organic pollution.
In normal and natural water, pH is 6.5 to 8.5. The acidity of water can iukur with litmus paper. Another example is the content oksifen d in drinking water should not be less than 3 ppm

c. physical parameters
Physical parameters including temperature, color, taste, odor, clarity and content of radioactive materials.

d. biological parameters
Biological parameters include whether or not the material organk / coli microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, benthos and plakton. Sensitive organisms will die in the water environment Teremar.
Ex: the state of water snails and planarians in sugnau or water indicates that the water in the river is not polluted.
